Progress Report

OK. So now I'm commuting back and forth to Seattle to attend the Gage Academy of Art. It's cool. Half of what I do there is academic, like these:




The other half is my own stuff, and it's been like these so far:

Portrait

Well, posts will continue to be sort of few and far between right now. I'm commuting weekly up to Seattle to attend an atelier at Gage Academy. Lots of drawing. The academic stuff: casts, light studies, master copies and that sort of thing. Figure sculpture twice a week, figure drawing for three hours every day. We've been doing quick portraits for the past two weeks, and this is the best one so far.
